My appreciation for Trinidad and Tobago’s food goes beyond the flavour and extends to cooking traditions and our history.
Food is so important to Trinbagonians; it is symbolic and imbued with meaning. Want to learn about a country’s history? Eat their food. Our palates may have evolved thanks to globalization and the penetration of American fast food franchises, however, our local dishes are still respected and consumed.
InSeason Tours wants to evoke a sense of pride in the country by showcasing communities that are still using traditional methods to prepare popular local dishes, those that are well known for unique dishes as well as those who host food festivals that may not be known to the general public. We also want to encourage domestic and international tourists to purchase and enjoy the local food products produced by small businesses.
InSeason Tours seeks to help promote Trinidad and Tobago as a culinary destination and provide you with a deliciously immersive travel experience the only way we know how, through storytelling in our first language, food.
Trinidad and Tobago is more than oil and carnival. Our culture of carnival is a huge segment of our brand but our food is our language. I look forward to sharing our stories, our recipes, our food and all things Trinbagonian with you.
Come learn about our story while adding to your own.
