My appreciation for Trinidad and Tobago’s food goes beyond the flavour and extends to cooking traditions and our history.
Food is so important to us; it is symbolic and imbued with meaning. Want to learn about a country’s history? Eat their food. Our palates may have evolved thanks to globalization and the penetration of American fast food franchises. However, our local dishes are still respected and consumed.
We want to evoke a sense of pride in the country by showcasing communities that are still using traditional methods to prepare popular local dishes, communities that are well known for certain dishes as well as those who host food festivals that may not be known to the general public. We also want to encourage foreigners and locals to purchase and enjoy the local food products produced by local artisans.
InSeason Tours seeks to help promote Trinidad and Tobago as a culinary destination and provide you with a deliciously culturally immersive travel experience the only way we know how, through storytelling in our first language, food.
